Good Morning
I have Gentle Roar set as my alarm, it wakes me up in a great mood every morning!
Promising prelude
Malin's voice really suits the '80s-style "Somebody (Drum Version)," but it was definitely made for "The Fox" and "Gentle Roar" – she gets to yelp, chant and howl without any inhibition. "The Fox" sounds like riding an Appaloosa bareback across the plains. The percussion in "Gentle Roar" makes you want to do a ritual dance around a fire. That, along with the lyrical references to eagles, dangers, echoes and quests make Niki & the Dove a duo to watch. Great EP.
