Album Review
A nice companion piece to Fumbling Towards Ecstasy, The Freedom Sessions offers seven early versions of songs from that album in a more stripped-down form. Also included is a cover of Tom Waits' "Ol' 55."

fresh & raw recordings, but...
these recordings are vulnerable and lovely in their simplicity, and i highly recommend this album. HOWEVER, do not buy this through iTunes-buy the actual cd, as the cd comes with half an hour of video and interactive media from sarah.
My favorite Sarah album
Thank God Apple finally got this on iTunes. This has my absolute favorite versions of several of Sarah's songs, especially this version of "Hold On"--it's far and away the best version out there.

My favorite of all of Sarah's albums. Listened to it nonstop in college. This album shows here raw talent.
