so good. jay is very talented musician and has a great voice...and he is super hot. so excited for the new album. just buy it ok! so worth it
The Freshman
Jay Brannan has an ethereal voice perfectly suited for this track. Yes it's a remake but his vocal is melodically beautiful and haunting at the same time. Best version of this song recorded to date. If you like this song, check out his other albums as Mr. Brannan is at his best as a singer/songwriter.

I saw Jay Brannan live at Joe's Pub in NYC this spring (fanastic show, by the way, if you can ever get to one of his performances I can not recommend doing so highly enough) and when he did this song, my first thought was "damn it, I wish I could own this." Now I can. And you should too--this version is haunting, melodic, and comes with the great, emotive vocals that only JB can deliver. A stunner.
