Crrrip original stoney rhymes and...

"...it's still young Sav on the mic.
just a little bit older, just a little more tight!"

Psyched man! Creative words are rhymed with each other in such unique ways it keeps me listing for hours.

Just as good if not better than the other two sav-c albums on iTunes

BEST SOLO ABLUM FROM SAVAGE-C YET

Artist: Savage-C

Album: The Garbage Pail Kid

Label: Hollywood vs The Thief

Released: 02/10/11

1. The Garbage Pail Kid - Produced By K Dinero

The opening track finds Savage-C in vintage form with insults and ill metaphors and the signature shocking chorus. The production from K Dinero fits him perfect, very melodic and futuristic i.e. TRON. Great way to start off the album.

2. Robert Downey - Produced By Shiesty

Relentless lyricism with continuous punchlines make this a repeat track, you have to listen 2-3 times just to catch all the metaphors.

3. Higher Than I’ve Ever Been (aka Ricky Ricardo) - Produced By Davey D. Cohn

The lone production appearance from Davey D. does not disappoint, the pairing is familiar and proven. Discussing one of his favorite topics has always produced some of Sav’s best songs (Trees Of Green, Mary Jane Money Music) and this one is no exception.

4. Jerry Maguire - Produced By Ill Pill

One of my favorite tracks on the album, arrogant rhymes and a jazzy sample beat are the perfect marriage for this cut.

5. Jack Burton (aka Chinese Fireworks) (featuring K Dinero) - Produced By K Dinero

NH at it’s best, trading verses back to back over music to ride to. Outlandish & inappropriate.

6. James Bond - Produced By Ill Pill

Another one of my favorite cuts on the album, the production provided by Ill Pill really allows Sav to paint a landscape of trash talking ignorance & hysterical content that has made him so popular today.

7. 18 Grand - Produced By Shiesty

Shiesty provides Savage-C with one of his absolute best beats. A great switch up production wise this is more of a braggadocious boastful track with a street vibe

8. Heath Ledger - Produced By Shiesty

This one almost sounds like a COUCH POTATO hold over, upper echelon pothead music. Makes me want to do absolutely nothing and sit down somewhere! Perfect chill track.

9. Drunk Exercise - Produced By Tekilla

Reminds me of track 1, more ill lyricism attacking the beat. Delivery on this song is superb.

10. Fight Club - Produced By Ill Pill

My favorite track on the album, laid back and chill. There is an art to picking beats and Sav has always had an excellent ear, he knows exactly what he’ll sound best on.

11. Jim Morrison (featuring Shiesty) - Produced By Shiesty

2/3 of the Nocturnal Drunks appear on another solid production from Shiesty, lyrically Shiesty spits back to back with Sav and the duo deliver heat with an excellent & catchy chorus.

12. Drowning (featuring Mista Cane) - Produced By Ill Pill

Prelude to the “They Listen Closer When You’re Dead” album from these two. Sav gives newcomers an idea about the resume and Cane follows with his disdain for the current state of the game. Production is epic

13. Dumb & Dumber - Produced By Shiesty

Again, this one sounds like it could have fit in perfectly on COUCH POTATO, melodic hilarious pot head music.

14. Fraggle Rock (featuring K Dinero) - Produced By Tekilla

One of my favorite tracks on the album, and one of my favorite songs ever by NH. The beat is classic NH and the two go back and forth with to many ill lines to just name one. You can’t help but repeat the chorus, SICK.

15. Stevie Wonder - Produced By Shiesty

Demented sinister type beat, story telling vibe. This might be the only track on the album that I don’t care for 100%, still some funny punchlines.

16. Orenthal James - Produced By Ill Pill

Celebratory vibe right here, Sav with some excellent verses and a solid chorus. Perfect track near the end of the cd, another one of my favorites.

17. Xanax (featuring K Dinero) - Produced By Ill Pill

All 3 of K Dinero’s appearances are solid, just goes to show how sick those new Nocturnal Hustlers cd’s are. This beat is destined for Sav, almost like his personal theme song.

SUMMARY: Although all of Savage-C’s solo’s have always been solid way above average albums I feel as if the cohesiveness, production, lyrical comfort etc. all created a perfect storm on this one. I would say this is my favorite album from Savage-C yet. Enjoy and support the artists, purchase the album on itunes if you like it.
