iTunes Review

The Garden Exclusives is a collection of remixes and rare versions of tracks from Zero 7's award winning third album The Garden. The original album featured vocal performances by José González, Sia Furler and Henry Binns and peaked in the top 5 of the UK album chart while earning a GRAMMY® nomination in the U.S. Among the tracks on this special release are previously unreleased remixes courtesy of Dilla, Block 16 and Dabrye. There is also a new remix of “Today” produced by French electronica maestro, Pepe Braddock, the rare “Futures Metronomy Remix” and Justus Koncke’s vocal mix of “You’re My Flame” featuring Sia.

One hit wonder

The majority of this album is utter crap. Being a huge fan of Zero 7 I was very let down. The videos are fine, but the music is really a joke compared to the stuff they put out in the past. There is however one glimmer of hope in this compilation, the alternate version of "Today." When I discovered this song it was like finding a hidden treasure. In my humble opinion ,lol, this song is up there with the best of them. Simple, yet lush, it represents a lot of the qualities that made people fall in love with Zero 7's sound.

c'mon lads !!

2 stars for 2 good songs 1 for end theme/breathe me (excellent) +1 for today

If you get it, then you'll get this!!

All Zero 7 albums are great. I was surprised to see the low ratings for this masterwork. Lyrically profound (to those in the know), while extending Zero 7's creativity into new realms. Stuff this good is rare - and by good I mean nearly all people seem to love this seemingly timeless music (this being Zero 7, the production is an art form all of its own.)

The men behind the European downtempo outfit Zero 7 — producers Henry Binns and Sam Hardaker — launched their careers in the music industry as tea boys at a London recording studio. They spent the best part of the '90s honing their production skills behind the scenes....
