Great Songs, Unique Sound
Every song has a very unique and catchy melody. The raw nature of the music does not overshadow the depth of the songwriting and production. I Highly recommend it.
Great, well rounded band.
Like many others, I was introduced to the band by their opening for QOTSA during the Duluth tour. While I must admit, since QOTSA is my favorite band, I was anxious and didn't pay the most attention to the opening band, I did get sucked into their performance, and thought it was unique and catchy enough to warrant me buying this album right then and there. These guys should be famous, as their music is the type that could very well simultaneously appeal to the mainstream WITHOUT sacrificing indivuality.
I saw them before QoTSA....
If Queens wanted a band that would make them look better, than indeed they picked the perfect candidate. Their performance was overly dramatic to make up for their lack of creative musicianship and left many people with glazed eyes and anticipation for the following band. I would honestly not recommend buying their music given the lack of passion for creative music production and all around boredom that ensures.
