Putting out records since 1993, Joe has had a lengthy and hugely successful career: racking up hits, selling millions of albums, working with everyone from Mariah and R. Kelly to Nas and Big Pun (on the smash single "Still Not a Player"). Though his biggest album My Name Is Joe dropped back in 2000, he's continued to release quality material on a regular basis; this is his sixth studio effort since then. On The Good the Bad the Sexy, he continues where 2009's excellent Signature left off, with a solid collection of songs concerned mostly with true love, wild passion, and sensual adventures of all sorts. For the most part the production is relatively understated, with lots of mellow synths and minimalist, snap and clap–infused beats backing up his romantically minded crooning. Unlike some of his previous projects, the tracks here aren't bogged down by tons of guest features; Joe himself is clearly the star of the show. Check out "The Time of Your Life," "Slow Kisses," and "Pull My Hair."

GOODNESS!!!!
Joe is like fine wine! He only seems to get better with age! I love this mans album. It's old school love soul that we 80s children miss. I think this album rivals his first. I hope people buy this because this is what soul music really is....
