Wow!
This album completely changed my perception about Chinese symphonic music. This is a collection of modern, energetic and inventive pieces. The woman in the 2nd song is first shocking but then it grew on me. The whisper and Chinese percussion instruments is very cool in the 5th song.
In short, I've never heard anything this interesting from modern China. I wish I could hear this live somewhere.
Awesome album
Heard this guy from a concert. This is definitely aimed for mass audience. Loved movements 3-6. Titles are a little over the top but the music is absolutely awesome. Some VERY cool music ideas.
