Joziah & Company at their best...
Another great effort by Gandalf Murphy and the Slambovian Circus of Dreams. Dylan-esque folk rocked with Keith Moon-style rhythm. The only better way to hear these songs done is to see the Circus when they come to your town.
A Very Solid Album by one of America's Best Bands
Its mystifying why this band isn't better known - there are no less than 6 or 8 songs on The Great Unravel that are instant American classics. Joziah and the Circus write GREAT songs and play them with feeling and great skill. The strongest of the bunch are "Picture" a haunting rocker, "Pushin Up Diasies", "Tink", Light a Way, Desire, Summer's Day, the title song, Clear Channel and Everyone..., kind of in that order. Highly Recommended as are their two previous studio albums.
