A Great Beginning
After being a Spitalfield fan for a long time, frontman Mark Rose definitely hits the ground running with his first solo album. The Greatest Lakes is highlighted by two very strong (How Strong We Are and Greatest Lakes) singles, as the rest of the album doesn't let up from start to finish. Hopefully this is a sign of more to come.
New Beginnings
Spitalfield was a sad day for myself when I saw the last show at the metro, But Mark Rose's "The Great Lakes" is a great new beginning to a new solo career. It keeps the sound of Spitalfield but this time Mark really makes it his own and I'm glad that him as a musican decided to continue making music cause the world would have lost a lot if Mark would have stopped
Mark does it again!
Great solo debut by a very talented musician. Excited for the NEXT CD!
