A Musical/Lyrical Ninja Gives a Double Hi-ya Chop.
I've listened to this record about fifty seven times, and I'm still moved and surprised by it. If you're a lover of great songs, you won't be disappointed.
Incredible Piece of Work
I was so glad to see that this is now available on iTunes. This is one of the best albums that I have heard in a really long time. Ben's sense of composition is great. The guy knows his stuff. Most of these songs filled me with a beautiful and joyful sadness on the first listen. There are moments on this album that will stop you dead in your tracks. The production is perfect and the lyrics are as well-crafted as the music. This is a great album to visit and revisit time and time again.
Buy this album.
This is really good music. If you like Ben Folds, Jon Brion, Aimee Mann, Harry Nilsson, The Beach Boys (Pet Sounds), Wilco AND heartbreakingly perfect lyrics, you should probably go ahead and download this album right now.
