Customer Reviews

Works well with the movie, but not as well by itself.

Mychael and Jeff Danna did a really good job on this score, and I thought it fit well with the eccentricities of the movie. As a stand-alone experience, it's not as much fun to listen to, though there are still some good tracks that stand on their own. All in all, I'd probably have to shelve this one for some new favorites like Josh Kramer's "Beginnings" or Elfman's "9".

good soundtrack

this is a very original soundtrack for a very original movie. the songs work well with the movie and they are entertaining to listen to. i just have to mention that johnny depp was gorgeous in this movie even though he wasnt in it for long <3

Mychael & Jeff Dana are great, Terry Gilliam is a genius...

Terry Gilliam is a genius.
The soundtrack is well done, but the stars are the two original songs, 'We Love Violence' & 'We are the Children of the World'. He uses the later as a ringtone in the movie and to great affect after the credits.
He uses a ringtone as the 'catch phrase' of his movie. Brilliant! Too bad it is not available here.
