Nice Work!

One of my pet peeves is when a band does a cover song that sounds exactly the same as the original. The Republic Tigers definitely didn't do that here...and it pays off. The layers and textures add a whole new view this Sinatra classic. It's worth the buck.

Impossible Dream - Republic Tigers

The Tigers do not cover tunes very often at all, but when they do, they definitely make it their own. Very complex textures make Dream an entirely new song. I enjoyed this quite a bit, but think the vocal is a bit too much in the background and the instrumentals are too foreground. Maybe a little less processing of the vocal would give it more of a presence. Nonetheless...5 stars for "Dream". Switch...I recently heard RT at a live concert do a cover of the Turtles classic, label-dig, Elenore. RT popped the bubblegum. Very cool. They should put it on their next album which I hear is "in the works". JP

What is wrong with this band?

This does not like music at all. The Republic Tigers took a great major classic and they ruined it. This is not even music. It is to tecno, and it is hard to tell what they are even saying. I do not reccomend this song at all.
