Album Review
The Jesus Record is a bittersweet testament to the late Rich Mullins, who died in an auto accident shortly before he would have started the album. The first disc of the two-CD set contains the demos for The Jesus Record, all of which are performed by Mullins alone, accompanied either by a piano or guitar. Mullins never had the opportunity to properly record these songs. Instead, the Ragamuffin Band recorded them officially, with vocalists like Phil Keaggy, Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith filling in for Mullins on vocals. It's an affecting tribute to Mullins' talent — not only are the demos quite moving, but the completed record nearly matches those peaks. Either way, it's a nice way to say goodbye to one of the major forces in '90s CCM.

Absolute must have!
Rich Mullins was one of the greatest artists of all time and this album just goes to show what he was really made of. The album has a few others who contributed to help get some of his last works out for other to hear. It is definitely worth purchasing, I have found myself listening to it over and over again.
Incredible
This is easily one of the most powerful albums ever released. The songs and vocals are filled with passion. The lyrics are some of the most contemplative and soulful I've ever heard. If you want a sample, download "My Deliverer", "Nothing is Beyond You", "The Heaven in His Eyes", and "Hard to Get".
Just Buy it
Even if your not a fan or even haven't heard of Rich Mullens (im sorry if you havent, his music is awesome) you need to get this CD. His lyrics are awsome and the people they got to sing them are awesome vocalist. You need to get this CD.
