True Worshipers
This is not just another great band from the Lone Star State... Check these guys out for their unique offerings, not just the geographical proximity to fellow Texans like Crowder, Tomlin, and both of the Shanes... if you haven't heard of them yet - you will. Justin, Kyle, James, and Aaron are true worshipers and their passion is easily heard in their music. Absolutley one of the best live bands/worship leaders i've heard (if it's fair to rate worship leaders)! Thoughtful songwriting throughout the album - each track has a lot to offer (both to the ear, mind, and spirit). There's too many things to say about these guys, so for starters... check out "I Awoke to a New Day" (an instant favorite), "Heavens Rejoice" (an awesome -literally- modern hymn - but don't let that word "hymn" scare you... it's cool to note too that Justin co-wrote this song with his wife), and finally, check out "Theme of My Praise" (the build up and total release at the end of the song gives me chills everytime). check these out and you'll be back for the album... and eagerly waiting for the new material they've been working on between their travels!
My Personal Favorite
I have had the privilage to worship while being led by Justin and the rest of the band. They all truly have hearts for God. Their music is great live or in studio. This album is a purchase you will not regret. And if any of yall in the band read this, you rocked at Woodridge's youth camp. Peace.
