FANTASTIC

Just when I thought I was doomed to listen to terrible kids music for the next few years, along comes this new album by The Tractors. Wow! I have never heard such a great approach to kid’s music. There are no annoying voices, fake instruments, or cheesy effects. This is real music-real instruments played by great musicians, infectious grooves, and authentic vocals from Steve Ripley. The songs are awesome! Some songs like Old MacDonald, This Old Man, and The Wheels on the Bus have been around awhile, but they have never sounded this good. The original songs are great too. Chicken Covers is really funny and you won’t be able to keep from tapping your foot to the upbeat songs Spin Around When They Dance, Flying Upside Down In My Plane, and Watch Me Swing. This is the only kid’s record we own that I don’t get tired of listening to. Oh, so what about my son? He is almost 11 months old and has been walking a little over a month. He will be sitting on the floor and when he hears the beginning of The Wheels on the Bus, he stands up and “dances” all around the room until the song is over. Then he looks at the speakers wondering where the music went. If he could say "Play it again", I know he would! If you and your kids are ready for a change, here it is. Do yourself a favor, and download this album now. Oh, and good luck not tapping your feet!!!

It's Pretty Great!!!

It really is!!!!

Fantastic as always

This album is a winner. My baby daughter loves it and its on just about everytime we're in the car. The Tractors come through with another success doing what they do best: making great, lovable music. Highly recommended for all ages.

The Tractors were one of the country-rock bands to benefit from the modern country boom of the early '90s. With their good-time boogie and rootsy country-rock, the Tractors were able to send their eponymous debut to platinum status. Although based in Tulsa, all of the members of the Tractors — guitarist Steve Ripley, bassist Ron Getman, vocalist Casey Van Beek, keyboardist Walt Richmond, and drummer Jamie Oldaker — were well-known Nashville session musicians before they came to prominence...
