The time was right.
It SEEMS like this collaborative effort would have happened years earlier(not counting Days Gone By), but it's kinda cool it didn't. It gave you both time to nurture your sound and collectively come up with some solid stuff. The feel of the album is so nice. Would love it on vinyl and I know that's the cool thing to say but if you hear the vibe, you understand.

Like the new jams!
I was a fan of Jonathan Clay's solo work. This stuff definitely shows maturity and a movement towards simplicity. I dig it!

This happens to be the culmination of the best two artists since Hall & Oates came out with Rich Girl in 1984. Yall inspire me to move out the woods, build a gypsy village and live off the land, and all I would bring would be this on a cassette with a bombox.
