Album Review
The Lost Chord is a deep sonic journey to the regions of inner and outer space. Jonathan Goldman is the captain of this spaceship and he is taking listeners to totally unexplored zones. Using chants and overtone vocals to augment his electronic atmospheres, Goldman approaches inner space by going to outer space first. An old adage states, "The only way to the promised land is through the desert." The eminent psychologist William F. Kraft wrote an entire book — Ways of the Desert — about the search for spirituality in difficult times and places. Goldman whisks his listeners to the far reaches of the galaxy so that they can view earthly issues objectively. The psychoactive properties are tuned to the frequencies of the spirit and the soul. There is no room for error so Goldman makes none. This outstanding healing experience will appeal to fans of David Parsons, Al Gromer Khan, Klaus Wiese, and Dean Evenson.

The Ultimate Chakra CD.
I have to say that of the CDs of that I own by Goldman, this is one of the most richly layered and intentfully well-put together CDs I've experienced. For this CD Goldman uses sacred ratios, corresponding chakra sounds, mantras, bijas, sacred code frequencies and just about every connective historical vocal and musical tool known to achieve deep meditation and penetrative healing, including intervals using the Fibonacci Series and use of sacred geometry by way of The Tree of Life. All of what is included and what the musical result of it is, is quite overwhelming, and as you might imagine if you are familiar with those things...incredibly powerful. As for the music, it is quite beautifully done. A couple of favorites of mine on ths CD are "Call of Compassion" and "Embracing the Beloved" and after hearing the samples they are the reason I made the purchase. There are 14 tracks on the CD. Each track is approximately 4 minutes long and flows gracefully to the next. The chakra balancing starts from the crown, moves down each center to the root, and then again climbs back up to the crown to finish. The pace of the CD runs about 50 beats per minute, the approximate beat-rate per minute of a healthy heart while at rest. The music has a bit of an east asian or middle eastern flavor to it with tribal beats. The overlaying chants, bijas, mantras and chakra sounds are put together in a way that creates calm, focus, and a sense of peace and safety. There is a subtle intensity to the music that seems to highlight and ground "being on purpose". I feel that there are definitely some powerful manifesting energies spinning throughout. Having the insert to read is a must, as it thoroughly explains how the music was woven together. The information allowed me to connect with just how much research and care went into putting the music together, and with that, how much intent was put into creating probably THE most definitive and thorough chakra balancing and healing CD available on the market. The clarity of therapeutic intent that comes through by reading just the insert is powerful, empowering and inspiring on its own!

I found this album to be worth every penny! it takes me to other worlds, calms me down, helps me meditate. its the perfect thing to have if you're into altering consciousness!
