Not feeling this album.
I really liked her album "After The Storm." It seemed like the true Monica. I liked it a lot better than Brandy's "Afrodisiac" actually. Then she released "The Makings of Me" in 2006 and I wasn't really feeling any of the songs on here. It's a different direction from Monica but there are about 3 songs I like. "Everytime Tha Beat Drop" was a great club-friendly hip-hop/R&B jam. "A Dozen Roses" is also good. While this isn't my favorite album I did decide to give it a listen.

I love the way monica sings her songs like you almost cry. You feel every word that comes from her mouth. Even though keyshia cole is to Mary j blige, She should be to cause she was out first. Keyshia and Monica sing beautiful together by the way. :)
