Groundbreaking
The Man Who is an incredible, breakthrough album for Travis. The sophomore album is always the mosr crucial in the success of a band's future, and thbis album hits all the right notes. The song Turn is probably the best on the album for simply evoking such an incredible message of worldwide tolerance and acceptance. Kudos Travis for paving the way for such modern British alt bands as COldplay, Keane, and Snow Patrol. Travis is what Radiohead would have been if they had stuck with the sound of Pablo Honey.
Mindblowing
I discovered this album when it came out in 1999. Travis helped me get through a really tough time in my life so I will forever be grateful for this album and to the band for giving me an escape. The music here is just so carefully crafted and the vocals are, of course, out of this world.
Can't Beat this One
If I had to pick ONE Travis album, this one would be it!
