Absolute smoker

If you were blown away by Tenth Dimension and /or Silicon Messiah, but like me thought Blood and Belief lagged a bit, you may be pleasantly surprised by this album. Heaves fire and blood right outta the gate and rarely lets up. For me, the songs fall off a bit in the second half (especially "Serpent-Hearted Man," which is a little forced and never quite gels, in my opinion), but maybe that's because the first five songs are so freaking good. Crisp, ballsy production that's maybe not quite as "dry" as Andy Sneap's. I didn't want to hope that Blaze would come up with something comparable overall to Tenth Dimension. . . but damn if he didn't do it! Bravo, Bayley.

Best Blaze album so far imo

Awesome album. Not a single bad song on it. Sounds like Blaze picked up better guitarists this time. So far (have only listened to the album a few times as of now) my favorite songs are Smile Back At Death and While You Were Gone. If you liked the other Blaze albums, try and get this. I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5 (the other ones I'd give a 4), but I can't, so I just rounded it up.

Awesome!!!!!!

I was already blown away when Blaze bayley made his own band and released 3 amazing albums and a totaly bezerk live album. but after B&B they had some troubles and everyone in the band left excpet Blaze himself. now 4 years later bayley renames his band gets MUCH better musicians and makes an album that makes SM, TD,and B&B sound tiny in comparison. Just get everything on this album it rules everything!!! Also, just want to point out that this is not blaze bayley's new solo career it's just a renamed band that is second only to Iron Maiden.
