They do still write 'em like that

Listening to Tim Jackson's music takes you back to when songwriters recorded albums that told you something about the artist. Remember when the singer personally wrote the music and played the instruments? Remember when lyrics had meaning and didn't simply sort of rhyme? The music spoke to you, the artistry touched you, and made you feel somehow connected. You'll find all of that with this collection. It takes a veteran of life to know what it feels like when time swallows you as in "This Lonely Place." And somewhere along the way, each of us comes across a "Shoebox Museum" of keepsakes that belonged to someone we respected. Veterans of another sort know the story of "Wildhorse Road." These songs have meaning, and they become all the more meaningful in the hands of a skilled musician. Yet, Tim knows how to shift gears, and he does with fan favorites "18 Wheels" and "Down the Mississippi." Someone once said that they don't write 'em like that anymore. Here's one guy who still does. If you're a fan of blue-collar country with a twist of heartland rock and roll, here's a guy you're going to love.

so great to find you again after all these years...check him out in person!!! That's the best!!! A smile to die for and a personality that draws you right in ladies...you won't be disappointed!!

We need more of this!

Listen to the songs, again and again. They rock and they draw you in, because they're the stories of your life or of the life you imagined. Essential rock with a charismatic, philosophical twist. Live in concert, whether duo, trio or Bootleggers, these songs are wonderful time and again. Recorded solo, they are a different flavor of fabulous and are required driving tunes.
