For The Master Plan, her sophomore album release, faith-based singer Tamela Mann sets her busy acting career aside for a bit to bring her powerful voice to bear on a set of gospel songs, most of which are given a distinctly urban and R&B veneer. Produced by Myron Butler and Terrell Carter, The Master Plan features an inventive vocal arrangement of “The Lord’s Prayer” as well as four songs co-written by Mann, "I Trust in You," "Here I Am," "Anything for You," and "In Him," making this set a logical successor to her debut album. This album is a must have! If you have need for more than just good gospel music, THIS IS IT! Anointing has hit iTunes!!!! It does happen ever so often. lol. Tamela we are grateful for your stand for Christ and thankful for your accurate representation of HIS kingdom on earth. Keep doing it sis!
This is a great CD!!!!!!
First off, this CD is WONDERFUL. How can you listen to "I Trust in You" and not be moved by that song? It's stunningly beautiful. I read through all the reviews and a couple of people mentioned how the songs didn't "grab" them or usher them into worship. Well, think of it like this: listening to music is comparable to reading the Bible--some days you read a passage and it may not speak to you, but down the road that same passage may be life changing for you; it's the same way with music. Don't listen to this CD once and then judge it. Spend some time with it and live with the songs, listen to the MESSAGE she's singing not just whether it's fast or slow.
