Across the board
This album is solid across the board; musically, lyrically, instrumentally. I dare you to find a song you don't like. Both albums from The Speedbumps are excellent [check out Apple] and I look forward to hearing a lot more from them. Hoping the band will make it to the northeast so I can see them perform live and get lots of folks here tuned in.
Mesmerizing Sound Continues
I thoroughly enjoyed "Apple Tree", and the Speedbumps' "Moon is Down" collection is even better. Every listen brings in something you hadn't quite noticed in the complex arrangement. The writing and performance is contagious...every song grabs you and Eric's voice brings out the emotion of the group. Adding the piano/chords pushes the sound over the top. Awesome, eclectic sound.
