The shape of grime to come! A most fitting tribute to Mr.Nice.
Kav and his blaggers have produced a promise of a bright future with the release of the Mr.Nice EP. Blending the best of Brit Pop-alt with the grittiest, grungiest American sleaze heard since the times of Oasis gave the double finger to Guns N Roses.
I have nothing but high hopes when the actual album comes out next year. Until then sit back and enjoy the Mr.Nice EP. A most fitting tribute to folk hero drug smuggler Howard Marks (subject of Rhys Ifans starring major motion picture).
The true gem of this EP is the song "City of Sun" which if there is any justice in the world, will be heard in every movie and commercial in the summer of 2011.
I've heard the true party comes in te live show which is at all times destructive and a promise of the power of creation. Good god. Can't wait until the LP comes out. This merge of Primal Scream and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club will be an epiphany for US/UK relations.
