Love it!
This is a fun collection of tunes. The Myrmidons are made up partially by members of that wonderful 80s band Book of Love. If you like poppy, upbeat, fun music with an original twist, I highly recommend the download. If you were a fan of Book of Love then this is a must have as their presence is felt here for sure. Clap (see the stars) has an infectious feel to it. I find myself getting in a better mood when I play it. It sounds to me like it belongs on a soundtrack to a favorite film. Looking forward to more from The Myrmidons.
But You Will Clap
Basically, they are one half of Book Of Love (Ted Ottaviano & Lauren Johnson) and their newest musical soulmate, Lori Lindsay. So imagine this: take Book Of Love’s happy melodies, keyboards and cutesy chimes & xylophones, add Lori’s Jack-White-style, fuzzed-out guitar, and you get a great pop band with an alternative twist. Listen to their first single, “Clap (See The Stars)”. The song is pure earworm syndrome. It’s a modern 80’s song, which probably explains why I love it so.

A brilliant balance of art, entertainment, and intellect. This is pop music with an edge--definitely NOT created by zombies!
