to call it catchy is an understatement
A couple years ago a Tampa band, Guiltmaker blew me away with a short EP, and here I am again floored by another Tampa band on the same small label. Whatever they feed 'em down there it's working. Stunning lead guitars whine and whittle through 21 minutes of intense diy-punk rock. The harsh male vocals are captivating and not at all over powering. Each part settles right into place to form a perfectly jagged whole. To call it catchy is an understatement, it's iconic and I LOVE it!!!!
absolutely awesome
Fans of older Hot Water Music and Fugazi ought to love this. Really short, to-the-point songs that are catchy as hell but really raw with some awesome gruff vocals.
Good but on the edge.
Anyone interested in this band should take a good look at The Swellers in their spare time.
