iTunes Review

Original lead singer Paul Di’Anno left Iron Maiden after its 1981 world tour, throwing the band’s future into question. However, his replacement—former Samson singer Bruce Dickinson—proved more than up for the job. Bassist and chief songwriter Steve Harris caught lightning in a bottle with an entire collection of tunes that became cornerstones of the Maiden catalog. There isn’t a weak track here. The title song and “Run to the Hills” were the immediate crowd-pleasers that expanded the group’s audience. However, “Children of the Damned,” “The Prisoner,” “22 Acacia Avenue," and “Hallowed Be Thy Name” were exemplary displays of the group’s instrumental prowess, its uncanny knack for writing accessible riffs without pandering to the marketplace, and a perfect launchpad for Dickinson’s commanding operatic vocal style. Future metal musicians—especially in the underground scenes of thrash, death, and black metal—would refer to Maiden’s intricate twin-guitar weavings and rhythmic overkill for their own unrelenting attacks. A heavy metal essential from every angle.

the number of the beast is 666

That song is so good i listen to it at least once a day or more times. Hallowed be thy name is cool and most songs that long are $1.29 but this song is only $ .99 and it is 7 minutes long. this is worth the money.

hope this was helpful Please comment bye

Number of the Beast

Iron Maiden is one of the best bands of all time, and this is their best album in my opinions. This album, not simply just any one or two songs in particular, is incredible and easily one of my favorites of all time.
If you listen to any other metal, listen to this.
If you listen to any other Iron Maiden, worship this.

Known for such powerful hits as "Two Minutes to Midnight" and "The Trooper," Iron Maiden were and are one of the most influential bands of the heavy metal genre. The often-imitated band has existed for over nearly four decades, pumping out wild rock similar to Judas Priest. Iron Maiden have always been an underground attraction; although failing to ever obtain any real media attention in the U.S. (critics claimed them to be Satanists due to their dark musical themes and their use of grim mascot "Eddie"),...
