From beginning to end this album is a gem. I can't wait to turn my friends onto some awesome new music. Well done Steve and co.
My Kind Of Rock
This latest release from Steve Brown is very melodic with catchy chorus and cool riffs. For those who followed 80's rock throughout it's glory years then you would have remembered the band Trixter. A good band which didn't last and was forgotten like alot of those many bands which never got their cut. Steve Brown was Trixter's guitarist and has found his way back to give us all those sounds we all miss and enjoy. The Other Side rocks from start to finish and needs to be purchased immediately!!
Stevo does it again
What a great cd! After over 2 years, its finally out...and worth the wait :-) Steve Brown's previous band, 40ft Ringo, put out a cd that's one of the best in my collection. If this isn't as good, its very close. Steve is so talented...amazing hooks and melodies. Just a great slice of power pop. My only gripe is the band didn't promote this cd being out for a few weeks, so I didn't know until recently. Favorites are "Stop Calling Me", "Go", "Till the End of Time", "Shine", "Everything I Have to Give", and "Black N Blue".
