Who are they? What are they?
From what I've heard, and after listening to this album, Daishi Dance is a plentiful supply of dancehouse beats, but gives it a classical taste with its array of beautiful orchestral and piano accompaniments. That is actually a really wonderful combination! But some of the songs are sadly uninspired and while include some really beautiful melodies, don't often explore much and stick safe and sound to the patterns they establish at the beginning of many of the songs.
They have a couple other albums, which are almost exactly like this one! But the newest, as far as I know, is entitled Spectacle, and I feel that offers some more wonderful gems than this album.
I recommend Daishi Dance. The vocalists are always female and they have really beautiful voices, with a slight japanese accent (which I happen to love).
If you aren't concerned with music exploring too much and just want some lovely music to lose yourself in, then Daishi Dance will deliver for the most part. The sound samples give you a pretty good idea of what you're in for.
