BEST RELEASE OF THE YEAR!!!!

At least in my book! Same old Soilwork with that beautiful thing known as progression thrown in! This group of Swedes has it perfected! Bjorn Strid is by far my favorite vocalist ever! The band does an amazing job of making his vocals soar through the music, and the solos on this album are pure poetry! Worth every penny and worth the LONG wait! Excellent job fellas!

Get ready for Soilworks 3rd style!!!

Incredible...a sound different from their classic sound in Steelbath Suicide, The Chainheart Machine, and A Predator's Poratrait; and also different from their newer four. They took a huge risk in making their new album a completely new 3rd stlye...and it's awesome! SOILWORK FOREVER!!!

I wouldn't have expected any less...

Just when I think Soilwork couldn't possibly top themselves, they go and do it. These guys are at the TOP OF THEIR GAME!! I know, it's just my opinion, but metal just doesnt get any better than this... The guitar work is amazing. Great riffs, overlying melodies and face-melting solos. "Speed" flexes his range from the low and gutteral to some impressive highs (Let This River Flow to name one)and everything in between. Of course, as always, there's Dirk Verburen. The man is a machine! I especially like the way these guys use some great odd time signatures and killer tempo changes all the while not breaking up the flow of molten lava melting your ears off your head! This album is for TRUE metal fans. Great job guys!

The Swedish metal sextet Soilwork formed in early 1997, fusing the country's signature ultra-heavy death metal sound with the power-groove riffs of late-'70s, early-'80s British and European metal. Vocalist Bjorn "Speed" Strid, guitarists Peter Wiches and Ola Frenning, and drummer Henry Ranta were all veterans of the Swedish scene by the time they recorded their first demo, In Dreams We Fall into the Eternal, in 1997; bassist Ola Flink became a permanent member afterward, as did keyboardist Carlos...
