Great 90's Aceeeed jazz !
Great album-bought this in the Uk in the 1990's and lost it-now rediscovered it on itunes-thanks! Love the track called Jesse - as good as any other acid jazz track around. Buy it!
Great acid!
I found this cd recently and it sounds great! It reminds me of something like a mix of Jackson 5 and Steely Dan (is it possible?). Anyway, take a look, I mean … hear it! Jesse and the Institution man are my favorite!

The late-'60s/early-'70s blues-rock outfit Mother Earth was led by singer Tracy Nelson and issued several somewhat underappreciated releases during their time span. Nelson was originally from Madison, WI, and it was while attending the University of Wisconsin that the singer was discovered by producer Sam Charters and was eventually signed to a recording contract with the Prestige label. 1965 saw the release of Nelson's solo debut, the folk-based Deep Are the Roots, and when it didn't exactly burn...
