Customer Reviews
Great songs, but the mix is not my favorite
The songs are fantastic, but I find that I keep on wishing for a way to remix the instruments so the drum loop isn't as oppressive and in-your-face sounding. I am playing it through a $300+ sound system so it's not the speakers at fault here. Maybe it's the sound quality of the MP3s but the vocals and instruments other than drums should be much louder in my taste for just listening. I have to turn the bass down just so I can keep the bass drum from giving me headaches. But then again, this is house music, so if you play it straight up then I'm sure the people will go crazy.

Unreal. I added this to my CD collection back in 2002 while in Europe. The album is pretty good but Starlight is one of the best tunes... certainly in my top 20 of the French or even the house thing. If you do nothing else pay the dollar for Starlight. I'm astounded that there's only one review for the album. They say that only 2% of people contribute to forums or reviews. On that basis this album has only been purchased a hundred or so times. Trust me... download it for Starlight.
