I Hear Rumors About A Revolution

With the amazing Kenny Vasoli pulling away from The Starting Line to form Person L, fans knew something good was to come. If the release of Initial wasn't good enough, The Positives really proves how concrete this band really is, with solid tracks like "Goodness Gracious" and of course, "The Positives." Personally, I felt as if Initial was the best and most fresh this band could release, but upon listening to this album, I can safely say I was wrong.

1 Hole In The Fence - Nice and calm intro to the album, very nicely and aesthetically done - 4/5
2 Good Days - Lots of energy in this song that makes you want to move, but very repetitive - 3/5
3 The Positives - Shows the unique ability of Person L to be catchy and rhythmic at the same time - 5/5
4 Goodness Gracious - By far my favorite song in this album, it really shows the personality of the band - 5/5
5 New Sensation - I have to admit I got up and danced to this song; incredibly powerful stuff - 5/5
6 Stay Calm - Haha, gotta love the message, a very calming song in the midst of all the energy - 4.5/5
7 Sit Tight - Kenny shows that he can rock out and have a good time in this song, very catchy again - 4.5/5
8 Loudmouth - I can picture this as something to play for a huge crowd, very attractive and makes me wanna keep listening - 4/5
9 Changed Man - The old-meets-new feeling this song brings shows some maturity in the sound of this album - 4/5
10 Pleasure Is All Mine - Again, there's lots of energy in the song, but again, it's repetitive - 3/5
11 Untitled - Somehow all the energy in his vocals, the unique instrument rhythm, and catchiness went into this song - 5/5
12 I Sing The Body Electric - Something about this, maybe Person L-uniqueness again, makes it unbearibly awesome - 5/5

Hope you enjoyed the album, because I stayed up and have no regrets with the purchase.

well worth the wait...

this album is more than i really expected... i love the way the guys took their time to give us an album that's gonna be on tops for a very long time... my favorite song is "Good Days" i've seen them perfom live many times and it's always a great performance... there's more from Kenn to come as well as the rest of this talented band... Person L = sex!

Satisfied...

I've been longing to here some studio tracks of Goodness Gracious, Hole In the Fence and Untitled... They play those songs along with I Sing the Body Electric at both of the shows I went before they started the second album. I was really disappointed to not hear them on the first album. This is a complete album. I really couldn't ask for more. The evolution of this band will be staggerings (imo). Buy this album. If you have any hesistation about buying this album check out Good Days, The Positives or Hole In The Fence, you'll get a pretty good sense of what the rest of the record is like. Right now Good Days is my favorite I could listen to it over and over again.
