Rockin'
This is Aurin's first official album and it's a great start! This four-piece has a big, heavy sound that helps bring out the best in each song! The singer is great and she can let out a mighty hard-rock scream! The whole band brings out the emotion and drive in every song from each bang of the kick drum to the chunks of the guitar.
Get this album if you're a hard rock fan! It'll make you want to mosh in your living room!
Unique!
I just happened to stumble upon this album a couple weeks back and ended up ordering myself a copy. They have a really polished sound and I feel that songs like "fly" and "holding on" could be hit singles. Take a listen for yourself.
An album ahead of its time
Aurin simply put is a sonic odyssey , the diversity in timing and pure musicianship is something to be desired in an almost "brainless" sea of lackluster bands. Andrew wayne shines as the bands guitarist creating distant but resonating solos followed by mike cantors intoxicating grooves on bass. One would be a fool to neglect the precision in Linda medinas timing as the cornerstone of the group on rhythm . All the while the messages being sent home by Sarah Anderson vocally are in a class all their own that truly cut to your core and leave you facing reality. In a day an age where genuine music is few and far between aurins pre inspired symphony is one to embrace, offering a tiny bit of truth amongst the otherwise droll.
