Awesome-nesssss
Scenes From A Movie is a great band. If you like Fall Out Boy or The Academy Is... then you will probably like them.
More than meets the eye! Amazing!
Scenes From A Movie might sound somewhat like Fall Out Boy at the first listen, but when it comes right down to it, they are better, they are more original, have much better beats and rythms, and they are not sell outs that were overplayed on the radio.
No,...
they don't sound quite like Fall Out Boy. Yes, the guy's voice sounds like Pat Stump's, but that's about as far as it goes. A good album if you ask me.

With a sound that falls directly in line with the legions of post-Fall Out Boy emo/pop-punk bands (think Panic! at the Disco's vocals over FOB's hooks), Scenes from a Movie have their roots in Charleston, WV, centered on a pair of high-school friends, vocalist/bassist Tony Bush and guitarist Jon Ewing. The two first met at school and played in a few bands together before graduation, and individual college plans found them going their separate ways.
