Real Hip Hop

Nappy Roots>Drake This album is real hiphop, something that everyone can relate to. This album shows the many facets of human life but is really listenable. great album!!

Best Hip Hop Album This Year Hands Down!

Definitely The Nappy Roots' best album since Watermelon Chicken and Grits (And I believe this album surpasses that one to become their greatest work to date). This album is as inspirational as it is humble, there is nobody in the industry bold enough to take the angle that this group has. "The Pursuit of Nappyness" is highlighted by the tracks "Ride," "Come Back Home," "Be Alright," and the gem of the album "The People." You can play this one from start to finish and forget about pressing the skip button at any point. Hope the Kentucky boys keep it going for a long time to come... This one is gonna be in the deck for a while! Thanks Nappy Roots!

Consistency and Honesty

In a day and age where Hip Hop artists are a joke and as simple as Dr. Suess books, Nappy Roots have consistently put out quality music with heart!
Organic, musical beats combined with honesty, interesting lyrics is the formula for success. So in summary. please support one of the FEW artists here in the south that actually spit stuff for REAL Hip Hop heads. BUY THIS ALBUM.
