Really Well Done
This is such a great CD in every way. Jenee's voice is beautiful, kind of a cross between Alison Kraus and Mindy Smith. Her songs are sad, disturbing at times but always wrapped in a silver lining. The most intriguing thing about Jenee's style is the way she takes her very folk-oriented, rootsy songs and throws a bit of pop into the production. It makes for a really cool mix of styles that works so well.
