Times Of Change?
We all know Coheed And Cambria, for their unique sound. From their progressive rock styling, to their catchy guitar riffs, and when we all heard this single many of us asked: Have they changed? The answer is: yes and no, each for the better. The first thing you will notice is the instrumental beginning, and then the opening riff hits you, slowly picking up speed. When the first verse kicks in, you may notice Claudio's voice is a tad different. It's gotten stronger, more controlled. The bass and drums are in perfect sync, Travis throws down his lead, like the professional he is. The entire song is perfectly in rhythm, and ready to tell you a tale. Their play style in this single may at first strike you as very different from the familiar Coheed. But once it picks up, you start to sing along, and you start to get sucked into the world that is Coheed and Cambria. Yes the album may have a new gloss to it, but underneath it all is Coheed And Cambria, their musical genius is sure to shine through this album. This body of work will close the series, and when the final track is finished playing, it will leave you wondering about the future.
Thank God
This song is amazing, everything I would have expected from The Heed. The artwork for the single is just as good. This is a must buy for anyone and everyone. I don't think I've ever anticipated an album as much as I'm anticipating Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV: No World for Tomorrow. I'm more excited about their new CD than Halo 3. Anyways, Coheed is the best...give them respect and be sure to purchase this amazing new single! : )
It's your poppy Coheed single
I'm glad they didn't come out with an epic first single again like "Welcome Home", but this single is akin to the overproduced sounding works like "The Suffering" and "A Favor House Atlantic". I just hope there is some epic left in them for the rest of the album. Though, I'm sure they do.
