Album Review
The Sacred Talisman offers more classic early-'80s power metal grooves and catchy, memorable tunes worthy of the top British metal outfits of yesteryear. Nocturnal Rites may not be innovators, but their enthusiasm for what they do is infectious and well worth the time of any metal fan who thinks that memorable guitar riffs went out with the '80s.

"The Sacred Talisman" is a power metal masterpiece. Where many other power metal bands come off sounding fake / cheesy in their delivery, Nocturnal Rites executes everything with complete perfection, and leaves you totally satisfied / convinced. Bottom Line : If you like high quality power metal, check out "The Sacred Talisman". I would also highly suggest giving "Afterlife" a listen as well...
