It's a Shame...

Why this album hasn't been embraced as much as Corinne's debut is beyond me. Sadly, all people want to hear these days are songs with smut lyrics sang with cookie- cutter diction and fake instruments. Lyrically, instrumentally, it is original. A wonderous, mysterious combination of ambiance, late 60s early 70s British and American rock, beatnik jazz and Corinne's childlike voice. I've never heard another album like this. Vocally, Corinne comes from a place few artists dare to, letting out melodies and notes that convey raw emotion, pain, contemplation and joy. This album will one day be revisited by real music lovers and then it will finally be seen as a masterpiece.

The Sea

This album had to grow on me a bit. At first it seemed sort of like a furneral durge...but what did I expect. Now I find after listing more and Closer her lyrics transport me, as before through the last few years of her life. I feel her pain. I experience the ghost, of memory. The push and pull of movin on. The vocals are excellent, the placement right own. Not only did she grow up some she still is moving through this journey of grief beautifully. Please stay with us Corinne, we look sooooo forward to the ride!

No one quite like Corinne!

This album is amazing. Not quite as bright and cheery as Put Your Records On but she's grown up and had some $&#% thrown at her. Her song-writing abilities are so strong and it clearly shows on The Sea. Much love for Corinne!
