Great jazzy blues rock feel that is great to listen to when you just want to kick back and listen to great tunes. Great head bobbin' music.
Done just right.
To me ... music is like food.
You put it into your body. It does something to you when you listen...fills your body with something. Maybe its an urge. Maybe it's happiness or sadness. Perhaps its memories - even if you have never heard it before. It elicits something from you.
Most profoundly, though, is when the very thing it elicits is the need to go have the same thing again and again. That's when you know it's good.
My point? I have been digesting the finer tracks off this album for the better part of two weeks now. It's very, very good.
Like a good chef who has perfected his craft, chooses the finest ingredients, and enjoys an excellent meal himself...you simply know when an artist does the same when it comes to music.
Enjoy it.
Unexpected pleasantness
Got a recommendation from a friend and listened to this new band. Got hooked on the first couple of songs.
