Unexpected Brilliance
I bought this album at the recommendation of a friend and...WOW! It's certainly one of the best albums I've bought in a long time. Death Valley High is a breath of fresh air in my musical world! A solid album from start to finish, "The Similarities of the Loveless and the Undead" is a hard hitting blend of punk/dance pop/industrial rock with rich vocals that linger in your head long after the music is done playing. The world may soon be coming to an end but at least now I have a soundtrack to take me straight to it.
BUY IT!
There is a LOT going on here, for sURE! A wide mix of influences, but somehow they come together to create something really unique and interesting. You'll wanna dance, you'll wanna sing along, you'll wanna drive FAST when you listen to this album, and you'll want to listen to it again.
