Desert Island Top 5
...no contest. Every track on this album drips with a richness that only The Mighty Stef can deliver. The title song, Sainte Catherine, is a tour-de-force with a honky-tonk piano combined with pure driven rock, and Prayer for the Broken Hearted has a unique raw vocal quality with a rather upbeat melodic line. The nautical aspect of this album gives it a timeless quality - it is at once retro and contemporary, a throwback and a leap forward. Literally every song is of a supreme calibre both in composition and performance, and appropriate for dancing wildly around a bar or sitting home with some friends and some booze. Down at the Radiotron waxes nostalgic about a time when one could find release in just losing oneself in good, proper rock, and Stef delivers just that, without a doubt. This album would fit into any music-lover's library. I encourage you to buy it immediately.

I saw them live about a year ago with flooging molly and no one can beat a show like that, awesome band glad to see them finally on itunes you have to see them live
