A slightly colder side
This album certainly has a colder, almost darker side than Sound of Lights When Dim, especially the first three tracks. SDSs second album definately holds up to his first in that he creates such rich layers of subtlety that simply sweep you away.
Never Ending invokes a very dreamy feeling that in beautifully concluded with Romantica, my personal favorite track. If you liked Sound of Lights When Dim, The Slow and Steady Winter is a suberbly different follow up.
