Absolutely Fantastic
From the pulsing bassline at the start of "Sound" to the vibrant guitars at the end of "Warm Me Up", "The Sound" is a compelling EP that reflects melody, unity and honesty. Hinting influences that range from Coldplay to Mutemath to Pink Floyd, this album manages to create an atmospheric soundscape that elevates and alleviates the listener from the mundane tones music listeners so often face today.
Will David's song writing shows maturity and confidence. The songs are delivered with precision and passion. As Will opens himself up, the album beckons the listener to explore their current condition.
Reflecting their name Vera, which means truth in Latin, this album holds no pretensions and pulls no punches. The band reflects honesty and their music is performed incredibly well. Forget the ironic-indie-hipster-bull. This is the real deal.
In the tradition of great up-and-coming artists, this EP leaves the listener wanting more. I am eager to see what the future holds for Vera and greatly encourage anyone to experience this album for themselves.

Fantastic EP. These guys are great, you won't regret owning this piece of music history. I'm just glad that I got in at the ground level and will later get to be one of those cool people who can say "yeah I've had the privilage to listen to this amazing stuff for years". Two words can sum this EP up and only two... Simply Stunning!
