Funky Beats for the Summer!
This album keeps you moving from beginning to end. Nothing "Scandalous" about owning this. Give it a try - it will not disappoint.
awesome, diverse range
this stuff is GOOD! and pretty diverse. the other 1Shanti stuff i've heard is lyrically cool, with great beats, and well produced. but these are great songs, too. well written. the variety of vocals goes from smooth to cute to smooth to super cute.
The classic Combo
Great record. Set up in a Digable Planets format (two guys and one girl) who all bring a rather mellow and inviting lyrical style to the table. You get that early 90s Brooklyn trio vibe with some cleary modern beats for a very pleasurable experience. From BK to Bombay, hip-hop fans should definitely check these guys out.
