funky as hell
big up to stones throw for recognizing this awesome album. granted they are versions of children's songs but they're so funky you don't even realize it. "all you need to make music" is sick. these guys are great musicians. "half rest repeat" yo that s**t is crazy funky....

Probably the farthest out of any children's record, The Stark Reality Discovers Hoagy Carmichael's Music Shop descended on unwitting pre-teens in 1970, thanks to Boston's public-television station WGBH and one of its producers, Hoagy Bix Carmichael.
