Loved it! Great EP!
Great record, hard to listen to "Make It A Great Day" without wanting to jump up and dance around and to - yes indeed - make the day great! Love Shaun's voice, it's reminiscent of some of our most classic rock voices, strong and heartfelt. Great 'natural sounding' recording, too. I, for one, have had enough autotuning. Nice work Mr Hague, I'm already ready for more!
Unique and fun
I love the mandolin opening and his voice is gruff and unique. I only wish we could get more than just an EP. But overall I love his sound.
Dylanesque
Truly the first description that came to mind, was Bob Dylan...only with a better voice. ;-) Also reminiscent of some of the Boss's more folk-rock tunes. Fun, Americana rock songs with heart. Love the saxaphone on Rainy Day in LA. Looking forward to seeing Shaun play these songs live!
