Album Review

Brady Seals comes from a family of musical stars, including Dan and Jim Seals. When Brady followed the same path, he got used to being in the music spotlight himself as singer, keyboardist, and songwriter for the popular contemporary country group Little Texas. Around 1995 he left the band to take a chance at a solo career. This album, The Truth, is the result — his first solo offering. Many fans knew his work as part of Little Texas, but weren't sure how Seals would do on his own. The songs on this debut, all of which he wrote or co-wrote, prove that his talents can stand him alone successfully. A few of the best cuts are "Still Standing Tall," "Natural Born Lovers," "Another You, Another Me," "She Doesn't Love Here Anymore," and the title track, "The Truth." The music is what one expects from Brady Seals: country full of pop and rock. Some of these songs could easily cross over on the pop charts if given the chance.
